Korean pop culture influencer Netflix

The Korean Wave (Hallyu) is Wind, not Wish. The wind is not a beggar. The Hallyu is Korean culture that blows like the wind. Does the wind blow with permission from someone? It's not.

The Korean wave is literally the wind. It is also kind of soft power 'culture power'. Power, culture and art are not subject to compromise. It's just to influence people's mind.

The Korean wave truly shines when stars and companies become one. The entertainment industry is driven by companies, not the state. When a country's economy is in crisis or businesses are weak, the impact of culture is weakened.

The Korean entertainment market was in crisis during the Moon Jae-In administration. Because Moon Jae-In prioritized the country and the whole and implemented and anti-corporate policy. Although BTS acted as a pioneer of the Korean Wave, in face, the Korean pop culture market was stagnant.

The reason that the outdated retro culture is fashionable again is because no new funds are put into the media market. China took advantage of this weakness of Korea, and invested a lot of money in Korea using Moon Jae-In, the pro-Chinese government, to take over media companies to make propaganda videos promoting Chinese culture using Korean film and drama production companies.

But at the same time, Netflix appeared as relief pitcher. Netflix has invested heavily in Korean content, and many talented producers in Korea have worked with Netflix and Youtube. If Korean content creators had collaborated with Chinese media platforms instead of with Netflix and YouTube, the wind of Korean culture might have stopped by now.

So I think that Netflix or YouTube might be the leaders in promoting true Korean culture. They are the influencers of Korean culture.
